ARTIST STATEMENT:

Before I had ever heard the term "green," I had begun to create beauty from materials that had been thrown away or deemed useless. I'm not sure if I was a budding environmentalist or just derived great pleasure from beating the system--making something beautiful and desirable from something that had been trashed. However my obsession began, I only know that I became true believer. I can make almost anything I want within reason (maybe not a car)! All I need is color, light, a little glass and a trash heap! I want to leave this world a more beautiful place without my footprint, and hope to spread a little spirit, love and joy instead! When I finally meet my Maker, hope He'll be pleased!
